George Moore
Chairman
George is a senior business executive with outstanding experience across a number of diverse industries. He was most recently Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Verecloud, a company providing cloud computing services and technology to Communication Service Providers. Prior to Verecloud, he held numerous positions with Antec Inc. (a large cable industry hardware supplier) including Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions, Senior Vice President of Business Development and President of Antec Materials Management. George also served as a senior principal at Accenture (a global management consulting firm) and as Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions for High Speed Access, a Paul Allen company.
George received a B.S. Degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and served as a naval aviator. He received an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Jim Bailey
Jim recently retired after a long and successful career in the Wealth Management arena. Most recently he was Vice President-Wealth Management for Merrill Lynch from 2002-2009. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Jim was an executive at Prudential Securities from 1990-2002. Before embarking on his investment management career, Jim was Chairman of the String Department, Professor of Cello, and Conductor of the Orchestra at The University of Northern Colorado. Jim is currently a board member for a number of youth development programs in Colorado, including Arts of Colorado, Family First, and the Colorado Youth Symphony.
Jim received his Doctorate in Music Performance from the University of Kansas, a Masters Degree from the University of Colorado, and a B.S. from University of Northern Colorado.
Melanie Ulle
Melanie is the Senior Director of Development at the University of Colorado Foundation. Prior to this role she served as the Senior Development Officer for the Denver Art Museum. Melanie is also heavily involved in many community efforts, including implementing campaigns for federal and state level candidates, city and state ballot initiatives and nonprofit fundraising and membership drives.
Melanie also has an exceptional background in event planning and television production. She has organized events featuring Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Robert Redford and Don Henley, to name a few. She and her husband, Albin, also hosted a 14-episode series for the Travel Channel and Discovery HD in 2007, called “1,000 Places to See Before You Die.”
Melanie received her B.A. (International Political Economy) from Colorado College. She is also a graduate of the University of Denver’s Emerging Leaders in Development program.
